Each of our staff members is part of a team of highly qualified healthcare professionals with many years of experience in the orthodontic field. You will find them all to be very warm, caring and knowledgeable. They participate in continuing education courses annually to stay current on the latest techniques and procedures. These courses will enhance your orthodontic experience in our office.
Our staff strives to maintain good communication between patients, their parents and referring doctors. Please feel free to ask questions you may have during treatment.

Desiree
Treatment Coordinator
Desiree is our wonderful Treatment Coordinator. She is a native San Diegan and is proud to call such a fantastic and beautiful city home. At Sonoma State University she earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations. When Desiree isn't cooking for a crowd, surfing, painting, or exercising, you can find her curled up on the couch with a good book or spending her Sundays at a Chargers game. “It is a great privilege to work with Dr. Greenspan and his team to create beautiful smiles for his wonderful patients. I can't think of anything better then seeing our patients smile!”

Annika
Business Manager
Annika is our Business Manager. She moved to SD from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she lived for 17 years. Annika was born and raised in Sweden and speaks fluent Swedish and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her three children (Eva, Emma and Erik) and their two dogs (Ina and Rosco). Annika loves camping, the beach and spending time with her family. “I love orthodontics because you get to be a part of an exciting time in the patient’s life. When they get a beautiful smile, you can see their self confidence grow.”

Yasman
Scheduling Coordinator
Yasman was born abroad and moved to sunny San Diego at a young age with her family. She attended San Diego State University and is currently continuing her education. Yasman enjoys playing with her chocolate labrador retriever on the weekend and hanging out with family and friends. She decided to pursue a job in the Orthodontic field after going though treatment herself and realizing that braces can change your life by improving your overall confidence. "With a great smile you feel confident. As long as you feel confident anything is possible."

Scheduling Coordinator
Alex was born in Salt Lake City Utah and just recently moved to beautiful San Diego. Alex attended Utah Valley University and is a licensed Master Esthetician. She loves spending time with her family, dancing, reading and traveling. “My favorite thing about working for Dr. Greenspan is that I get to see beautiful smiles all day long. Who wouldn’t love that!”

Orthodontic Assistant, AAO Certified
Nam was born and raised in San Diego. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High in 03’ and is a Graduate of UCSD. While work keeps her busy, she loves to hang out with friends and family, go to the beach, and shop. She’s also working on her snowboarding skills as often as time permits. Nam has been a part of this office for four years now, and “loves the opportunity to be a part of the patient’s lives as they grow, and as their confidence grows with their bright new smiles.”

Rachel
Orthodontic Assistant, AAO Certified
Rachel Hawkins was raised in the beautiful Northwest in Salem, Oregon. She attended the University of Dental Technology in Utah. Rachel moved to San Diego from Utah in 2006 with her husband who is working on a PhD at The Scripps Research Institute. Currently Rachel is working towards her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. In her free time she enjoys cooking up yummy treats and decorating her home. Rachel loves to shop, long board, snowboard, and hopes to learn to surf while living in San Diego. “Orthodontics has always been a big part of my life. What I like the most is seeing our patients enjoy their new, perfect smiles.”

Jill was born on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. She was raised most of her life in Lake Stevens, Washington. Recently, Jill moved to San Diego to be with her boyfriend and loves the warm weather. She has a white silver tipped doll faced Persian cat that accompanied her on the journey to San Diego. Jill enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones, shopping, working out, eating and traveling to Hawaii. She has been in the orthodontic field for a little over seven years now. “I love seeing the outcome of each patient’s treatment with a huge smile on their face. I couldn't think of another profession more rewarding.”

Hunter
Records Technician
Hunter has been lucky enough to have been raised in San Diego and is honored to be a native. She went to school at Bishop's and then graduated from college with a degree from Texas Christian University. Hunter is continuing on with her schooling in the healthcare field and loves the patient interaction that working with Dr. Greenspan provides. In her free time, besides laughing and studying, Hunter loves to run and spend time with family and friends. "Smiling is one of my favorite things to do, so working with Dr. Greenspan is an exciting and fulfilling job, as patients always leave the office doing one of my favorite things!"

Several staff members attended the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics (PCSO) Conference in Monterey, California. It was a great learning experience for all of us!
Halloween
On Halloween our office staff brought the magic of The Wizard of Oz to our patients. The creativity and personality of our staff was able to shine! On the afternoon of Halloween patients and neighborhood kids came to the office trick or treating. It is so much fun to see our patients in their Halloween finery!
